Built in 1845 for Amelia and Edward Payson, 16 Winter Street is one of Salem's finest examples of Greek Revival architecture. Elegantly restored and beautifully decorated, each room is furnished with period antiques and warmed by a personal touch.

A continental-plus breakfast consisting of fresh fruit and home baked breads is served family style over friendly conversation at the inn's lovely dining room table and provides your hosts the opportunity to share with their guests much information about our historic city and all its Witchcraft mystique.

Two night minimum on weekends, May - September.

House Policies

Children over 14 are welcome ~
Non-Smoking (smokng permitted outside only.)
No pets onsite and no guest pets hosted.
Guaranteed reservations require advance deposit.
Balances are due upon arrival, and for all nights reserved.

Payments accepted via Cash, Traveler's Checks, A/E, Discover Card, Visa, &
MasterCard for any deposit, any balance due, or for the welcomed walk-in.

For May through September 30th Reservations
Seven (7) days notice for return of deposit.

For October 1st - October 23rd Reservations
Fourteen (14) days notice for return of deposit.

Please understand that exceptions, regardless of the reason, cannot be made,
unless the room is re-booked for all nights reserved.
